ASCOT United Under 16 Aces eased to a 6-1 win against Ashridge Park as Tom Philpot helped himself to four goals.

The first 15 minutes were scrappy, but then a great through ball from Tom Monck put in Philpot for his first.

By half time it was 5-0 and the game was over. Tom Handley got a tap-in after good work from Sam Donachie to get to the by-line and cut the ball back, and Philpot drilled in another from 25 yards. Following a corner, a shot by Monck was diverted beyond the keeper with a neat header for Philpot to get his hat-trick. In the last minute of the half, Sam Donachie scored a wonderful volley from outside the box into the corner.

The second half was much more even with a goal apiece, Ashridge netting first before Philpot got his fourth after the ‘keeper could only parry a Donachie shot..

He also scored twice in a remarkable 9-5 defeat against Burnham, with Robbie Smith, Frans Meyer and Craig Barter also on target.

The U16 Trojans beat Windsor Youth Kestrels 4-1 thanks to a Daniel Lay double and goals from Jay Burden and Michael Hedges, while the U16 Royals were edged out 5-4 by Liphook in a nine-goal thriller.

Tom Stickels scored twice with the others coming from Meyer and Yuri Cardosa.

A Charlie Skinner hat-trick and a Matt Vlatas strike were not enough for the U18 Royals, who went down 8-4 to AFC Whitchurch.

The U18 Aces were defeated 3-0 by Hampton, the U16 Youth lost 6-4 to Sutton United, but a brilliant hat-trick from Cary Lowrie-Williamson and a Rhys Hughes effort fired the U15 Racing side to a 4-2 win against Ashridge Park.

Cade Munden and Ben Martire both grabbed trebles and Taylor Arnold got the other as the U15 Eagles hammered Rushmoor Community Jaguars 7-1, and goals from Aidan Holland, Gabriel George, Tom Roberts and George Gray earned the U15 Youth a 4-2 win against Bracknell Town in the County Cup.

The U14 Hornets overcame Woodley Saints Lions 4-2, but the U14 Youth lost 4-1 to Kew Association despite a Sam Daniel penalty.

The U13 Aces smashed Teddington Athletic Tigers 5-2, but James Tilley’s goal was not enough for the U13 Royals who lost 3-1 to Berks County Lions.

The U13 Youth progressed in the League Cup with an emphatic 6-0 victory against Chertsey Town, Leo Reed, Jake Pandhor, Luca Knowles, Sam Wright, Charlie Reuby and Max Westbury the goalscorers.
