KEVIN Iley took the Division One honours in the July Midweek Stableford at Caversham Heath.

Iley (17hcp) scored 41 points (23 points on the front nine) and secured first place despite a double bogey on the last. Runner-up was Mark Pattle (14hcp) with 38 points (halves of 16 points and 22) and third was Merv Jones (18hcp) with 37 points (21 points on the back nine).

It was much tighter in Division Two where two points separated the top seven players.

Simon Dicketts (19hcp) claimed top spot with 34 points (even halves of 17).

Runner-up was Lynne Rumbold (19hcp) with 33 points, but countback was needed to decide third place with five players all recording 32 points.

Daniel Dover (20hcp) got the nod ahead of Audrey Fox (29hcp), Michael Busher (22hcp), Samuel Kpani-Addy (24hcp) and Keith Reid (19hcp).

Two double bogeys in her final two holes cost Rumbold her chance of taking top spot, while Fox ended with a triple bogey. Kpani-Addy recorded a nil return on the last.

Twos were recorded by Darren Bonney and Lynne Rumbold (both on the 8th hole) and by Mario Atkinson (17th hole).
