BERKSHIRE women endured mixed fortunes in their two County Championship T20 games at North Maidenhead on Sunday.
The hosts (87-4) defeated Kent (84) by six wickets in their opening game, Emma Walker (3-15) and Alice Macleod (3-14) doing the damage with the ball before Carla Rudd’s unbeaten 33 saw them to victory with two balls to spare.
Walker (2-21) and Macleod (2-15) impressed again against Lancashire (130-9), but Berkshire failed to chase down the target, bowled out for 102 in 19.2 overs. Macleod top scored with 22 from 17 balls, while Mia Rogers and Ashleigh Muttitt both made 18.
