AFTER months of hard work, training and fixtures the BCA Netball Academy are celebrating their win of the Association of Colleges London League.

The team have been playing regular fixtures against local colleges in the league since October.

BCA defeated Newham Sixth Form 52-8 to secure their league win and the first title for the BCA Netball Academy.

Head of netball, Emma Rackley, said: “The girls have worked incredibly hard all year round to earn this victory and have been a pleasure to coach.

“The girls have worked well as a team, supported each other, and showed great determination to win many of their games by a large margin.

“This is an incredible achievement for BCA and is the start of big things for the Netball Academy.”

The season does not stop here for the girls and they now have a number of summer tournament to compete in before earning a well deserved rest over the summer.
