WESTWOOD United Reserves surged to the top of Division Two after they recorded 4-2 and 10-0 wins against Wargrave and Barkham Athletic respectively, writes Richard Ashton.

Danny Nicholson was in stunning form as he scored twice against Wargrave and then bagged a hat-trick against Barkham, with substitute George Bullion also helping himself to a four-goal haul in a one-sided encounter. Adam Kingsbeer and Michael Greenwood also netted along with an own goal.

Reading YMCA moved to the top of the Premier Division with a 10-0 drubbing of Taplow United.

Ryan Adams helped himself to four goals and Dan Donegan bagged a hat-trick, with the rout rounded off by an Ashley Searle brace and a Johnny Adey strike.

James Worsfold continued his hot streak in front of goal, but Woodcote Stoke Row slipped to a shock 5-1 home defeat to Highmoor Ibis Reserves.

In Division One, Russell Benham’s hat-trick was not enough for Frilsham & Yattendon as they lost 4-3 at Reading YMCA Rapids, Sam Larking netting twice and Andrej Homola and Martin Abery for the hosts.

George Dallarda and Aqeel Butt were on the scoresheet for FC Imaan Lions in their 2-2 draw with Maidenhead Town, Sam Angel and Matt Langley getting the goals for the visitors.

Sam Cripps scored for Woodley United A, but they were beaten 2-1 at Rotherfield United Reserves in Division Three.

Unity Reserves eased past Ashridge Park 4-0 and Harchester Hawks edged out Maidenhead Town Reserves 1-0.

James Gregory and Harry Levey netted twice as second-placed Braybrooke crushed Hurst A 4-1 in Division Four, Edward Prove netting the consolation.

William Jaycock hit the target as Goring United Reserves lost 2-1 at home to Wargrave Reserves.

Finchampstead Reserves reached the final of the BTC Intermediate Cup after claiming a 2-1 home win against Berks County Reserves.
