BRACKNELL Cavaliers suffered a huge setback in their Premier Division title bid after a shock 5-2 defeat to struggling Raglan FC, writes Ben Smith.

Liam Whyte fired Cavs ahead from a Dillon Warburton assist but Raglan, who had picked up just three points from 11 games before the weekend, hit back and were 3-1 up at the break.

Raglan added a fourth after the restart and, although Warburton made it 4-2, Raglan also notched a late penalty.

Second-placed Finchampstead Athletic cut the gap to three points after battering Braybrooke Athletic 9-0. Golden Farmer Rangers won 4-0 against Bracknell Celtic. Morale Madrid smashed Binfield Club Athletic 4-1 and FC Fernhill battled past FC Meta 3-2.

Division One leaders Finchampstead Athletic Reserves won a thrilling game 5-4 at home to mid-table Ashridge Park.

Kwame Appiah was the star of the show for the hosts with a brilliant hat-trick, while the other goals came from Dan Marles and Ian Rose.

Second-placed Crowthorne Inn remain hot on the leaders’ heels following a 5-0 rout of basement boys 3M FC. They are just three points behind Finch, but have four games in hand.

Wokingham & Emmbrook crushed Winkfield 6-1, Whitegrove overcame Hurricanes 3-2 and relegation-threatened AFC Crowthorne drew 3-3 with Sandhurst FFC.

Berkshire All Stars cemented their place at the top of Division Two with a 7-1 victory against struggling Winnersh Town.

All Stars are now seven points clear of Binfield Royals who still have three games in hand following their 5-1 win against Newbold College.

WAB drew 2-2 with Berks County, while Berkshire United lost 4-2 to Bracknell Saint-Germain and Bracknell Athletic defeated Club 8 5-0.

Basement boys Hope & Anchor collected their third point of the season after a 2-2 draw with Warfield United.

In Division Three, the spoils were shared 1-1 between table-toppers Ashridge Park U21 and second-placed Bearwood Wanderers, leaving the latter a point adrift, but with two games in hand.

Woodley United Reserves are not out of the title race after they won 2-1 at Bracknell Titans, while Bracknell Royals eased past rock bottom Crownwood Dukes 3-0.

Winnersh Rangers decimated Finchampstead Athletic A 8-1, FC Harmanswater won 3-2 at AFC Crowthorne Reserves and Bracknell Cavaliers U21 drew 3-3 with Bracknell Falcons.

In the Eric Holbrook Cup, Camberley Athletic cruised past Bracknell Forest 3-0.
