WHITEKNIGHTS turned on the style as they cruised to a 45-14 victory against Thunderbirds 3.

Whiteknights started very quickly and soon established an early lead, winning the first quarter 11-4.

Thunderbirds Wing Attack Louise Boisclair tried hard to guide her team, but great court play and intercepting by Whiteknights meant it was difficult for them to make any headway.

The second quarter was much like the first with Thunderbirds trying hard to pull the deficit back, but their opponents continued to make it difficult for them to get a handle on the game.

Whiteknights won the quarter by the same margin to extend their lead to 22-8 at half time.

Boisclair moved to Centre which gave them a better flow in the third quarter and this was Thunderbirds’ best period, scoring five goals.

Whiteknights took their foot off the pedal a little and only managed nine goals but they still ended the third stanza with a healthy 31-13 lead.

Whiteknights were exceptional in the final quarter thanks to some excellent finishing by their Goal Shooter, Brenda Lacey, with great back-up from Goal Attack, Lorna Cox.
