GOLDEN Farmer Rangers dropped from being joint leaders to fourth in the Premier Division following a 3-2 defeat at Finchampstead Athletic, writes Nick Carpenter.

Jamie Currie headed Finch in front from a corner early on, before Craig Graves doubled the lead and Currie’s second and made the game seem over with less than an hour played.

Substitute Dan Drew struck two late free-kicks for the visitors, but ultimately it was too little too late.

Morale Madrid despatched Raglan 8-0 to go a point clear at the top, while Binfield Club Athletic are up to second following a walkover against Super Reeves.

FC Meta are up to sixth place with a 3-2 win at Bracknell Celtic, whose scorers were Sipho Mphande and Nyasha Chingosho (pictured). Winless Braybrooke remain bottom and suffered this week at the hands of FC Fernhill, losing 8-0.

In Division One, Finchampstead Athletic Reserves striker Andy Lazenbury was in fine form as he hit a hat-trick in the 4-1 defeat of Hurricanes. Scott Thomas was Finch’s other scorer, Chris Wyatt with Hurricanes’ reply.

Third-placed Intercity came through a feisty affair with Bracknell Forest to also win 4-1, while Wokingham and Emmbrook TMW are still in touch with the leaders in fourth spot following their 4-2 win at home to Whitegrove, Jonny Clifford and Chris Friend with two each for TMW and Lee Blackman and Alfie Sparrow for Whites.

Ashridge Park continued their recent good form with a 2-1 win at home to Sandhurst FFC, Jack Steadman and Daniel Merritt for Ashridge with Eathan Smith replying for Sandhurst. Winkfield’s recent good run of form came to an end at home to 3M in a 1-0 defeat.

Division Two leaders Berkshire All Stars ran out convincing 6-0 winners at rock bottom Hope & Anchor, with Danny Batten, Mitchell Carpenter, Blake Brown-Koroma, Tommy Marshall, Jack Dicker and Sam Barnor all netting.

Berks County moved into second as goals from Ben Elgar and Mitchell Webb helped them to a 2-1 win at Bracknell Athletic.

Newbold College secured a 2-1 win at home to WAB, Christian Benitez and Teodor Oprea for Newbold, Joe Collins with WAB’s reply.

Oli Pritchard and Ellis Watkins hit the goals that took Ashridge Park U21s to the top of Division Three as they won 2-0 at FC Harmanswater.

Finchampstead Athletic A beat Crownwood Dukes 6-0 and Bearwood Wanderers overcame Bracknell Titans 3-1. Owen Roberts, Tom Croft and Luke Blakebrough were Woodley United Reserves’ scorers as they were held 3-3 at home by Bracknell Royals.

In the Berks & Bucks Junior Trophy, Winnersh Rangers had a walkover against Wycombe FC Riverside, while AFC Crowthorne Reserves progressed after their 3-2 win at home to Tilehurst Club.

Bracknell Saint-Germain are out after losing 4-2 at Datchet Village and Crowthorne Inn won 3-1 at Warfield United.
