LADY captain, Georgie Seaman won the Gillas Cup at West Berks on Saturday.
A three round competition with the best two scores to count, Seaman won with 68 points, one clear of Gale McAuley who beat Tina Mulford into second place on count-back.
The seniors started off the M4 Winter League programme with a 3-1 home victory over Donnington Grove while the men signed off their Saturday friendly fixtures with a fine 5-1 win at home to Hadden Hill.
Meanwhile the seniors’ men halved with the ladies in the Chris Green Trophy while the ladies lost a friendly fixture at Donnington Valley 2½-1½.
Geoff Pudner won the seniors’ medal with a nett 71, Brian Bailey was one shot behind in second place and Roger Gaskell third on 75.
