The Reading Ultimate Mixed team after winning the British Championships
READING Ultimate's Mixed team have been crowned European champions after winning all seven of their matches in Frankfurt, Germany.
The team – who have been UK champions for the past two years – began their campaign by beating Paris-based Ah Our Puc Coed 15-12, Slovakians Outsiterz 15-11 and Sexy Legs from Estonia, 15-14 in a thrilling encounter.
They edged out Czech Republic side 3SB by the same margin, Germans Hässliche Erdferkel 15-12 and SeE6 15-11 to make the final.
There they took on Amheim-based FC Airborn, who Reading defeated 15-11 with a brilliant performance to cap a sensational weekend.
