Bowls: Twyford beat Wargrave for Hedges Cup victory
TWYFORD won all six rinks in a resounding 103-73 Hedges Cup victory against Wargrave.
Nick Orde skipped the top rink with Allan Wrigley and Pearl Leavey (22-13) and there were also big wins for Phil Rose with Kathy Lewis and Jim Walter, and for Neil Patchin with Mick Kenway and Ann Harris (both 17-10).
Hurst retained the Tasker Cup, which has been competed for since 1950, for the seventh straight year with an 82-60 win against Twyford.
