TEAMS from West Berks Golf Club claimed first and third prizes in the North Oxford Ladies Open with Sally Rowley-Williams, Babs Collyer and Mary Harwood winning with 77 points and Sandy Miller, Ann Davies and Georgie Seaman placing third with 74.
Jock Douglas and Mark Ramos won the Clama Trophy with 39 points followed by Tony Atkins and Mark Charlton in second place with Tom McAuley and Luke Prestoe third.
A score of 39 points also secured the Gamhall Trophy for Jane Brackenbury and Jason Kendal with Gale and Tom McAuley one shot behind in second place.
Harwood won the ladies midweek medal with nett 78, Georgie Seaman was second with 83 and Shelagh Lancaster third with 86 while Steven Haylor won the men’s midweek stableford on count-back with 34 points from Tony White with Graham Miles one shot behind third.
In team events the seniors halved 3-3 away to Ogbourne Downs and the Centrals sevens team lost away to Cherwell Edge by 4½ to 2½.
