RICHFIELD Rovers reached the final of the Tilehurst Charity Cup with a fine 3-1 victory against Roebuck, writes Richard Ashton.

Senior Division leaders Dee Road Rangers dropped points in a 2-2 draw with Southcote, allowing Reading Irish to cut the gap to four points – with three games in hand – following their 3-1

success at Reading YMCA.

Whitley Tavern thrashed Emmer Green 5-1 and Barton Rovers drew 3-3 with Eastern Rangers.

In the Premier Division, Woodley United were thrashed 6-0 at home to Purley, despite brave performances by James Timbers and Sam Cialis for the home side.

Tilehurst YM became the first side to beat The Tilehurst Club after gaining a 3-1 success to record their third win in a row.

YM started well and created a number of early chances, taking the lead when Aaron Parfitt’s shot was deflected and found the bottom corner.

Young Men doubled their lead when the Tilehurst Club goalkeeper failed to collect Parfitt’s corner and the ball fell to Craig Palmer who smashed it in from six yards.

The visitors pulled one back with a breakaway goal but Mark Bolton finished a goalmouth scramble on the hour mark to seal victory.

Second-placed Woodley Wanderers drew 4-4 with Henley Town in a stunning Division One game, while AFC Burghfield downed S.C. United 2-0 and 116 Exiles triumphed 3-2 against Charvil Rangers.

Le Galaxy progressed to the final of the Industrial Cup with a 2-1 win after extra time at AFC Pangbourne.

In Division Two, Loxwood’s title hopes suffered a big blow after they lost 3-2 at Emmbrook Inn. A double strike from skipper Jason Ivil failed to save Loxwood who fell 2-0 behind early on.

Ivil reduced the deficit, but poor marking at a set piece allowed Emmbrook to restore their two goal cushion before Ivil made it interesting with an 80th minute penalty, but Emmbrook held on.

Man of the match for Loxwood was Dan Mann, making his first start of the season.

Meanwhile, Athletico Forest crushed Wokingham & Emmbrook 7-1 and AFC Burghfield Reserves overcame Warwick Arms 3-0.

Berkshire Rovers beat Forest FC 3-2 and Mapledurham cruised past The Grosvenor 4-1 in Division Three East.

Tilehurst Club Reserves remain top of Division Three West following a 7-0 drubbing of Tilehurst Titans, with Falcon remaining two points behind them after a 3-0 win at Theale.

Coley Park crushed Park Villa 5-0, Woolhampton CFC smashed Whitley Athletic 5-2 and AFC Basildon ground out a 4-2 success at Southbank Reserves.

TheIn Division Four East, title race remains intriguing after leaders Borussia Teeth drew 3-3 with third-placed South Reading, maintaining a two-point lead having played two games more.

Henley YMCA United defeated Kennet Valley Reserves 3-2, Dan Hayden scoring for the hosts.

Six Bells battered AFC Chalfont 7-0, Kings United destroyed rock bottom Delta Vigo 4-1 and Fox & Hounds beat Caversham United 2-0.
