FINCHAMPSTEAD Athletic put a dent in second-placed Binfield Club Athletic’s Bracknell Town & District Premier Division title aspirations with a 4-2 home win.

Goals from Tom Williams and Danny Newman for Bins were not enough as a brace apiece from Finch’s Joe Cumnor and Jamie Currie sealed the win.

FC Fernhill moved above Bins and to within four points of leaders Sunningdale & Wentworth with a game in hand on the leaders as they beat Morale Madrid 2-0.

Ben Knight broke the deadlock shortly before half time with a well-placed header that gave Madrid’s keeper Chris Grace no chance.

Madrid’s Dan Slinger wasted a glorious chance to equalise, blazing over the bar in front of an empty net on 70 minutes, before Fernhill’s Charlie Evanson sealed the win.

Winkfield managed their first win of the season beating Golden Farmer Rangers 4-2.

Winks took an early lead through Ryan Martin's screamer before Farmer were reduced to 10 men due to an injury to top scorer Dan Adams.

However, they equalised through Gary Bale, although Winks once again took the lead with Rob Dunbar finding the net.

Farmer got themselves back in the game when Tom Conway finished well to level but further goals from Martin and Dunbar gave Winkfield the victory.

Bracknell Celtic have moved top of Division One after winning a seven-goal thriller 4-3 at Ashridge Park, a hat-trick from Harry Pangborn and a strike from Jamie Tucker doing the damage.

Berks County had Charlie Harcup, Callum Shields and David Amey to thank as they beat Braybrooke Athletic 3-1.

In Division Two, leaders Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW drew 4-4 at second-placed Berkshire All Stars.

Daniel Mackenzie hit a hat-trick for TMW while Will Simpson was also on target, with a Dean Clayton brace and Sam Collins and Freddie Simon strikes for the All Stars.

Finchampstead Athletic Sunday Reserves demolished Hope & Anchor 5-1 to move up to third with games in hand over the top two, Owen Thomas grabbing H&A’s consolation. Elsewhere Warfield United lost 3-2 to Bracknell Forest.

Winnersh Rangers drew 2-2 with Bracknell Manics Reserves in Division Three.
