OUR Lady of Peace A beat Our Lady of Peace B 10-0 to retain their lead at the top of the Reading & District League Division One table.

Mark Banks and Hari Gehlot got maximums as Kingfisher A beat Kingfisher C 9-1, while Martin Adams and Richard Rosinski matched that as Kingfisher B beat Sonning Common & Peppard A 8-2, the latter earning a good win over Keith Swain 8-11, 11-8, 11-13, 11-9, 11-7.

Our Lady of Peace A were able to play a strong side at Tidmarsh A and recorded an 8-2 win, Daniel Moses with a treble alongside doubles from Krasimer Ivanov and Ian Cole. Kingfisher D won 8-2 at Our Lady of Peace B.

The big match in Division Two saw leaders Our Lady of Peace C hold second-placed and unbeaten Sonning Common & Peppard B to a 5-5 draw.

Harry Munro starred with a fine treble including a 17-15, 13-11, 4-11, 11-5 win over Sonning’s Simon Berry while Yonatan Slobodskoy came agonisingly close to sealing a match win before losing out to Jeremy Willis 6-11, 11-9, 6-11, 11-3, 9-11 in the final set of the night.

Two-man Our Lady of Peace C still managed a 7-3 win against Sonning Common & Peppard D, Munro and Slobodskoy with maximums.

Mike Aistrop’s treble helped Tidmarsh B to an impressive 8-2 win over Sonning Common & Peppard C, while Allan Bruton, Ivor Hardman and Allan Pack all won twice in Kingfisher F’s 7-3 derby win against Kingfisher G.

Our Lady of Peace D had a nice 6-4 win over second place Tilehurst Methodists A for whom Nigel Rowland hit a fine maximum.

For the seventh time this season, bottom-of-the-table Birch Copse A lost 6-4, this time to Kingfisher H. Eric Holmes gained a good treble for the birds.

Ray Webb was the man in form by gaining a maximum to help Pangbourne WMC B overcome Kingfisher I 6-4.

Towards the bottom Tilehurst Methodists B gained two vital points by beating Milestone A 6-4 with Ian Cockling gaining a great treble, while leaders Kingfisher J beat Springfield A 9-1 with David Joyce and Melvyn Lovegrove both unbeaten.

In a bottom-of-the-table clash in Division Four, Nicholas Nowak was in superb form with a treble for Sonning Common & Peppard F, but Tilehurst Methodists C eased their relegation fears with a 7-3 victory.

Sonning Sports A made light work of Curzon Club C 8-2. 

John Walker and Linda King made sure they did not get things all their own way. This win enhances Sonning's promotion push.

John Burke and Adam Sheen trebles paved the way for a Springfield B 7-3 win over Kingfisher K.

Our Lady of Peace F kept their promotion chances in tact after beating leaders Reading FC Community Trust 6-4, Dave Holt with a hat-trick alongside singles from Steve Shaw and Balazs Horanyi. Mihajlo Ralic got a maximum as Our Lady of Peace G won 7-3 against Kingfisher L, while Sonning Common & Peppard G followed up a 10-0 walkover Tidmarsh F by drawing 5-5 with Birch Copse B, Jaroslaw Chmielowiec with a treble for the Birch Copse team.

Rob James, Sam Will and Steve Wood victories kept Tilehurst Methodists D on course for promotion after they won 6-4 at Milestone C before crushing Springfield C 10-0. Milestone hit back to beat BBC Club 9-1 thanks to trebles from Oliver Bonser, John Evans and Carl Edlind.

Sonning Sports B grabbed a 6-4 win over Our Lady of Peace G. Isaac Davies and Pete Sinclair both got maximums as Tidmarsh F beat Sonning Sports B 9-1.
