HUNGERFORD Town maintained their outstanding run of form with a brace of victories which lifted them to second in the Southern League Premier Division table.
Goals from Stefan Brown and Nat Jarvis proved sufficient for the Crusaders as they overcame King's Lynn 2-1 on Monday night.
Bobby Wilkinson's side had previously earned a 1-0 victory at Dorchester Town on Saturday.
Hungerford took control from the start and came close to breaking the deadlock through James Clark.
His free-kick did lead to the visitors' goal on 39 minutes, man-of-the-match Matt Day rising highest to nod home.
Lewis Morgan came closest to equalising with a 25-yard drive, but Hungerford held on comfortably for the win.
The Crusaders – unbeaten in eight games in all competitions – host Thamesmead Town in the FA Trophy on Saturday (3pm), before welcoming Paulton Rovers to Bulpit Lane in the league on Monday (7.45pm).
Thatcham Town's game at Bracknell Town on Saturday was postponed due to an electrical fault at Larges Lane.
The Kingfishers were due to visit Abingdon United in the Floodlit Cup on Tuesday, and visit North Leigh United in the Challenge Cup on Saturday (3pm).
Kye Franklin scored twice and Conor Lynch was also on target as Newbury won 3-0 at Highmoor Ibis Reserves in the Thames Valley League Premier Division.
They host Cookham Dean this Saturday (2pm).
