Coach Khalid (Bobby) Malik has got his academy into full swing again this winter.
Head coach at Reading CC, the founder of Pure Cricket Academy is passing on his expertise to young players on a regular basis.
“We cater for boys and girls of all ages and abilities, from those new to cricket up to the elite level,” said Malik, a former Pakistan first-class player.
“It is important players enjoy the learning process as they work to improve their cricket skills.
“I try to ensure each individual goes away from my academy having enjoyed the day and wanting more.
“There are many core life skills that can be developed from cricket, such as teamwork, listening and patience, and it is a pleasure to see many of my students go on to flourish as fine young players and people.”
Bobby runs his academy and one-to-one sessions at Bluecoat School (Sonning), Eversley Cricket Centre and Bradfield College.
