WYNAND Lamprecht scored his third magnificent century of a productive campaign as Peppard Stoke Row ended their Premier Division season on a positive note with a convincing 92-run victory at relegated Sandhurst, writes Richard Ashton.

The South African was again in outstanding form as he made 107 not out, and with Andy Watts (63) also among the runs, PSR closed on 227-3.

Lamprecht’s brother Charles (2-28) was assisted by an incredible one-handed catch by 13-year-old James Langston in dismissing Sumit Malla fourth ball, and with Dion Sampson (3-7) in excellent form, the Camels were knocked over for 135. Adam Birch top scored with 45 as he broke Sandhurst’s seasonal runs record by going past 1,400 in all fixtures.

Champions Sulhamstead suffered a shock seven-wicket defeat at Woodley.

Chris Mercer (57) and Jamie Seward (53) batted well, but with Naveed Ashgar (3-30) and Kashif Ali (3-34) in fine form, Sully were bowled out for 189.

And that total never looked like being enough as Suneet Basra (72) and Ali (51no) guided Woodley home.

Crowthorne & Crown Wood sealed second place with a winning draw at home to Ruislip Victoria.

Rob Crook (93) and Nick Outram (78) helped the Crows to 244-6, and Ravi Godbole (4-17) and Alex Sykes (3-25) then had the Middlesex-based side in all sorts of trouble at 86-7 when the game was cut short by rain.

Adam Davidson starred with bat and ball as third-placed West Reading won by 35 runs at Woodcote.

The all-rounder top scored with 72 not out as Wests were bowled out for 182, Paul Knox claiming 3-23.

Mike Stroker made 52 in reply, but Davidson (4-35), Hafeez Ul-wahab (3-13) and Adeel Razaq (3-33) proved too good as Cote were knocked over for 147.

Mortimer West End suffered a hideous batting collapse as their relegation was confirmed with a 21-run defeat at BCS Grosvenor.

Sarfraz Hussain (46) impressed for the hosts but he received little support as Hugh Patrick (4-16) and Nick Kingston (3-23) skittled BCS for just 113.

However, West End failed to hold their nerve and were bowled out for 92 in reply, meaning they finish second bottom.

Emmbrook & Bearwood sealed the Division One title in dramatic fashion as they held on for a winning draw at home to Bradfield. Steve Bendall made 43 for the hosts, but good bowling by Dave Brown (4-25) and Bob Bolton (4-38) saw Emmbrook dismissed for 139.

However, a superb spell from Callum Marshall (4-32) ensured Bradfield could only reach 131-9 in reply, giving Emmbrook the championship.

Welford Park sealed promotion with a nine-wicket procession at home to Checkendon.

Stephen Yahia took 6-23 as Checks were skittled for just 76, and Will Herrington’s unbeaten 45 took Park to glory in the 16th over.

Peppard Stoke Row 2nds were relegated after slipping to a narrow two-wicket defeat at home to Goring on Thames.

Fergus Nutt (43) impressed for PSR but there were few other contributions as Pete Slade (4-12) and Nikhil Kulkarni (4-19) helped bowl the hosts out for 116.

David Williams (2-48) grabbed two early wickets in the reply but Chris Lewis (50) put Goring on top, only for Sam Fooks (3-14) to reduce them to 92-8.

However, Slade and Alfie Clifton got their side over the line to help Goring end the season in third.

Ibis Mapledurham rounded off their season with a 124-run thrashing of inconsistent Stratfield Turgis.

Luke Whiley (65no), Matt Jones (57) and Steve Brackley (44) guided Ibis to 237-8, and Andrew Barrett (4-28) and Errol Masters (3-29) then skittled Stratfield for 113.

Sohail Chaudry (7-21) produced an inspired spell to inspire BCS Grosvenor to the Division Two title following a six-wicket win at Shinfield.

The hosts were knocked over for 128, and Chaudry (58no) then showed his class with the bat to steer his side to success.

Sandhurst 2nds were relegated after losing by 74 runs at second-placed Sulhamstead 2nds.

Sanjay Dove top scored with 57 as Sully were bowled out for 164, Martin Pharo (5-15) and Simon Hards (3-24) the pick of the attack.

However, the Camels were then routed for 90 to finish second bottom.
