Letter: I'll be MP

Print | Email

I WAS wondering where I can apply to become an MP.

It seems that our sitting MP won't be sitting much longer after his'error'.

I have all the required qualifications needed to become one. I can add and multiply but I am not very good at subtraction which shouldn't cause too much of a problem.

I also listen but hear nothing.

I am however very good at saying sorry (easy to say) for my errors and blaming the system for my failings.

To be serious parliament needs to be dissolved now and all MP's need to provide detailed accounts of their claims and then let the people decide who is fit to represent us.

These people need to remember that we are the leaders and we have the power. They are there to serve us and not themselves.

As for some of the claims well they begger belief. Are we supposed to believe that if they weren't MP's they wouldn't eat!

Much like Mr Mackay I suspect I am being made redundant next year maybe a new career as an MP would be nice but I think I am far too honest for that,

Regards,

Bob Ridgway.
