Letter: Who monitors station traffic?

WHENEVER I try to use the railway station drop-off point in Station Hill (near the taxi rank), I find it is blocked up with stationary vehicles.

They do not appear to be using it to drop people off; perhaps they are waiting to pick people up. Vans sometimes use it as a loading bay. And they are preventing people like me using it for its rightful purpose.

Who is responsible for monitoring the drop-off point to make sure it is not being abused in this way - the railway authorities, British Transport Police, RBC traffic wardens?

Perhaps one of your reporters could investigate, and cause pressure to be applied where appropriate.
