Windsor residents and police target nightlife
RESIDENTS in central Windsor have overwhelmingly labelled the town's nightlife and anti-social behaviour as the priorities they want police to tackle.
Out of 361 votes, 198 people showed their concerns in the Thames Valley Police-led survery.
Speeding and dangerous driving (86 votes) and burglary and theft (77 votes) were picked as the second and third priorities respectively.
There were 20 recorded assaults in the town centre in June, compared to 27 in June last year, but 12 thefts from cars in June, up from three last year.
