UPDATE: Governors confirm headmaster's exit
GONE: Mr Clauson was not at the Maidenhead Road school for the last week of term.

THE governors of Windsor Boys' School have confirmed the departure of the headmaster, Julian Clauson.
In a letter sent to parents on Friday, Barry Darvill, the deputy chair of governors, wrote: "With the agreement of the Governing Body, Mr Clauson will be leaving The Windsor Boys' School at the end of this term.
"Mr Clauson would like to thank all members of the school for their support and friendship during his time at the school and he wishes all of them every success for the future."
There was no statement made by Mr Clauson and no explanation of the reasons for his departure.
The letter also confirmed Tony Willis, associate head, will be acting headmaster for the next academic year.
