Dedworth community hub approved

PLANS for a new library and a community room were given the green light by cabinet tonight (Thursday).
The £623,000 proposal to refurbish the old doctor's surgery in Smiths Lane, Dedworth into a library and community hub was unanimously approved by the council and should bring to a seven year saga to an end.
Catherine Harman, manager of Lilliput Learners Pre-School, which will move into the new site in January next year, said: "We are enormously pleased. It will mean that the children will get so much better facilities. I can't stop smiling."
