Setting the scene: The ancient land of the pharaohs is coming to Reading.
SUMMER may have only just got started but for a company celebrating its 10th anniversary, Christmas is just around the corner.
Best Parties Ever, which organises themed Christmas parties in marquees in Reading"s Kings Meadow, is marking its milestone by freezing last year"s prices.
There will also be half-price souvenir photographs and half-price tokens for the dodgems.
This year"s theme is Party At The Pyramids, with revellers being transported to an Egyptian kingdom with pyramids and intricate hieroglyphics.
Fire eaters, belly dancers and contortionists will entertain guests who, after a five-course meal, can choose to jump on the dodgems, gamble in the casino, ride the camel rodeo or dance the night away.
This year"s season, from Thursday, November 26, until Saturday, December 19, has tickets starting at £34.50 each plus VAT.
