Shop 'overrun' with mice opens again
A GROCERY store closed by the council after health officers found it was 'overrun with mice' has reopened.
Marwa grocery store, in High Street, Slough, was allowed to continue trading on Wednesday after Slough Borough Council's environmental health team were satisfied shoppers are not a risk.
The store was closed by the council on Monday, August 6, as it 'caused an imminent risk to public health'.
Officers from the environmental health team found the store was overrun with mice, there was no hot water or hand wash basins and poor cleaning and disinfecting throughout - health issues they said had now been dealt with.
