A FORMER teacher has been charged with historic sexual offences against boys at a prestigious £20,000-a-year private school.

David Keith Geddes, 70, of Upper Weald, Hampshire, has been charged with four counts of indecent assault on a child under 16.

The charges are in connection with offences alleged to have been committed against three boys between 1975 and 1977 while he was working as a teacher at Caldicott Preparatory School, in Farnham Royal.

He has been bailed to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates' Court on August 28.

Former pupils include deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and England cricket captain Andrew Strauss.
