Dog walker racially abused before being assaulted
A WOMAN was racially abused and knocked to the ground by youths who then tried to rob her.
The 55-year-old victim, who is white, was attacked on Saturday, April 7, between 7pm and 8pm, while she was walking her dog around the play area in Buttermere Avenue, Haymill, when three youths, two boys and a girl, started shouting racial abuse at her.
The two boys used their bike to knock her down, and then kicked her body, before searching her pockets and running off empty-handed across the park.
The women was left with sore ribs, pain to the back of her left leg, a cut to the left forehead and bruising to her neck by her ear, as well as being left very shaken and upset.
The youth with the bike who assaulted her is described as black with very dark coloured skin, about 15 years old, about 5ft 3ins, and skinny while the second youth is very similar looking to the first, and is of similar age and height.
The girl is black with a dark complexion, shorter than the boys, and with shoulder-length black hair.
