FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a teenager after the car he was in flipped on it's side in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Crews from Slough and Maidenhead were called to the incident, at Lake End Road, Taplow, at around 1.30am.

They had to use cutting equipment to free the trapped passenger through the roof.

The man, who firefighters believe to be around 18, was later taken to hospital, though the extent of his injuries are unknown.

Firefighters from White Watch in Slough said the driver and two other passengers walk away unharmed.

Police closed the road while the teen was cut free, and crews were there for around an hour and a half.
