TWO conmen posing as police have burgled a home in Slough.
At about 6.45pm on Tuesday, an elderly couple were watching TV at their home in Stoke Road when two men walked into the room.
They claimed to be police officers and said they were responding to a report that someone had been seen climbing through the bedroom window.
The men went upstairs with the residents to look at the window, then left saying that they would send someone round to take fingerprints. The elderly couple then discovered that two wallets and cash was missing.
The intruders are both white men in their forties. They were wearing black clothing and one of them wore a flat cap, giving the appearance of a uniform.
