A SPECIAL event designed to let people describe their personal experiences of 'end of life' care across Windsor, Slough and Ascot is being held at the SportsAble headquarters at Braywick Sports Ground.

It has been organised by the East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group in partnership with local care providers.

The CCG hopes to get guidance from hearing local people's experiences and views of what good 'end of life' and bereavement care should be.

The event is aimed at people who are at the end of life, as well as people who have either cared, or are continuing to care for someone who has recently died or is dying.

It takes place on Tuesday, August 21 between 10am and noon.

It is organised by the CCG’s End of Life Care Commissioning Managers, Laurel Sanderson and Jenna Gilkes. They will be joined by Rosie Fowler who is the End of Life Commissioning Manager for North East Hants & Farnham CCG.
