THE MET office has issued an amber weather warning in light of heavy snowfall across the country.
The Met office has advised that "Road, rail and air travel delay are likely, as well as stranding of vehicles and public transport cancellations."
They also warned that there is a good chance that some rural communities could become cut off.
The areas under the the amber alert have been extended south by the Met office to cover Buckinghamshire. Wales, the Midland, and parts of Northern and Eastern England have also been affected.
Crew manager John Ellis of Slough Fire Station said: "As a brigade, we're warning drivers to be vigilant at all times, to not drive at excessive speeds, and make no unnecessary journeys."
The amber weather warning remains in force until at least 6pm today (Sunday)
