POLICE are searching for a girl who went missing yesterday (Tuesday)

 Isla Franco, 15, who lives in Taplow, was last seen in Huntercombe Lane South, Slough, at about 10am today. 

She is described as white, about 5ft 8ins tall, with a slim build. She has shoulder length brown hair with pink highlights, and wears glasses.  Isla was wearing black skinny jeans, a black top with flowers on and black ankle boots when she disappeared.

She has connections to the Warwickshire area, and may have travelled to London. It is believed that she is using public transport to travel. 

The investigating officer, Detective Inspector James Mather, of Aylesbury police station, said: "We are carrying out an investigation to locate Isla, and we are continuing to ask the public for their help to find her.

"We believe that she may be using public transport to move around, and I would ask anyone travelling by train or bus to be particularly vigilant.

"If you have any information which could help us to locate Isla, please call 101.

"Isla, if you see this appeal, please get in touch. You are not in any trouble, we just need to know that you are safe and well."
