SOUTH BUCKS District Council is inviting landowners and residents to comment on their draft list of brownfield sites that could be built on.
The Brownfield Register is a list of suitable sites for potential development in the future. The consultation began on Friday, September 29, and ends on Friday, November 10.
Just because a site has been included on the register does not necessarily mean it can be built on, as developers will still need to acquire planning permission.
The consultation was implemented after the Government introduced a requirement for all Local Planning Authorities to publish a Brownfield Land Register by December 31.
Cllr Nick Naylor, leader, said: βItβs really important that residents help us compile a comprehensive list to identify any previously developed land across the districts, that could potentially be used for residential development in the future.β
