Heidi Rhodes School of Dance performed an ‘absolutely fantastic’ show at Disneyland Paris.
Some 79 pupils, of the school in Roses Lane, Windsor, performed two separate showings at the Videopolis theatre at the famous tourist attraction.
The junior troupe of 49 pupils, aged five to 10, performed Annie in the 21st Century while the senior troupe of 30 pupils, aged 10-17, put on a Motown Medley performance. Over 400 people watched.
Mrs Rhodes said: “It was absolutely fantastic, and a bit nerve-wracking. We got to the theatre, and the juniors went first, before the senior performance one hour later. The juniors were absolutely buzzing, and parents were crying”.
Dance teacher Megan Rhodes said: “The juniors were a little bit flappy before the performance, but afterwards their little faces were so happy. They were over the moon.
“The seniors were just amazing – I couldn’t believe we put it together.”
Mrs Rhodes said: “I got emails from people the audience saying how much they enjoyed it. Some thought they were part of an official Disney dance group.
“We had the most fantastic three days out there. Some of my students told me it was the best thing they’d ever done.”
