A unique chance to visit the Lakeside Energy from Waste Facility at Colnbrook is being offered to members of the public this September.
The facility is being thrown open on Saturday, September 9 .
The award winning joint venture between Grundon Waste Management and Viridor uses advanced technology to divert about 450,000 tonnes of non-recyclable material a year away from landfill - generating enough electricity to power a town the size of Slough.
Come and see the giant grabs each time they move the weight of an adult T Rex to chambers that burn at 1,000C.
Free tickets can be downloaded from Eventbrite and more detailed information on Heritage Open Days website.
