Two fierce van fires in Iver Heath this morning are believed to have been started deliberately – as residents hit out at how inconsiderate parking had hindered Firefighters from getting to the scene.
Firefighters took an hour to bring the fires, in Swallowdale, under control after being called at 4.45am.
Langley Fire Station told The Observer they were both likely to have been caused by arsonists and Thames Valley Police are investigating.
Some residents captured the fires on camera and criticised inconsiderate on-street parking which they said had made it more difficult for the fire engine to access the scene.
Lisa Hunt said on Facebook: “Parking needs to be sorted down Swallowdale so fire engines can get down this road.”
Kim Barnett responded: “It proved that this morning.”
If you have any information call police on 101.
