Crowds gathered to pay their respects to the victims of the terror attacks in London and Manchester last Friday.
Organisations attending the vigil on The Green in Burnham included the British army and the First Battalion Coldstream Guards. Representatives from Burnham Park Academy, the parish council and St Peter’s Church in the village also gathered.
It was organised by president of the Ahmadiya Muslim Community for Slough & South Bucks, Ahmad Bhatti, who said: “Together we stand united against all forms of extremism and condemn in the strongest possible words the recent terrorist attacks that have taken place. We stand together in peace and solidarity and remember those who have lost their lives.”
