THREE more people have been charged in relation to the murder of Slough teenager, Wa-ays Dhaye, who was stabbed to death close to his home two years ago.
James Barker, 75, of St Hughs Avenue, High Wycombe, Wesley Barker, 40, of Pentlands Road, Slough, and Sophia Corbyn, 47, of Ripley Road, Reading, have each been charged with perverting the course of justice.
They are all due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 27, Thames Valley Police said today (Friday).
Khianni Gordon, 19, has already been convicted of the murder of Mr Dhaye, while Kaneel Huggins, also 19, and Anton Clarke, 18, were found guilty of manslaughter.
In their case, the court heard that Mr Dhaye, 18, of Thurston Road, Slough, had been tracked from Slough Railway Station by the three before they pounced close to his home on 31 August, 2015. They had driven from the Notting Hill Carnival to Slough before carrying out the knife attack.
In April last year, Gordon was jailed for life, Huggins for ten years and Clarke for nine.
