Firefighters are still in attendance at a house in Spencer Road, Slough where an accident with an aerosol hairspray caused an explosion that blew out the front window and door at 4.30pm.
It caused a fire upstairs that needed three pumps and two breathing apparatus to be used.
Substantial damage has been caused. But no-one has been injured.
Watch manager Matthew Biscuit is leading the team.
