A MAN was cruelly robbed while suffering an asthma attack in broad daylight last week.

The victim, in his fifties, was walking past Burnham Railway Station between 11am and 11.30am on Wednesday when he started suffering from the episode.

While trying to contend with his breathing problems, the man was shoved to the floor from behind.

A man then reached into the victim's pocket and stole his Samsung Galaxy mobile phone and his black leather wallet.

The thief is described as a white or mixed race man, about 5ft7 of 5ft8inches tall, of a stocky build with short grey hair. He was believed to be wearing a dark blue hooded top with the hood down, and either dark trousers or jeans with pain marks on them.

Det Con Vinny Bansal from Slough Local CID said: “This was a horrendous incident for the victim, who was robbed whilst he was in a vulnerable situation.

“We believe there were people in the area at the time of the offence and we’d urgently like to speak to anyone who witnessed it."
