A MAN was brutally assaulted during the early evening last week.

The 29-year-old victim was hospitalised after he was set upon by three men while walking across a green near a block of flats in Meadow Road, Langley.

The attack happened at about 6.30pm on Thursday, February 9.

Police described the assault as "prolonged" and the man was kicked and punched when was already floored.

As a result, the victim had injuries to his chest, back, arms, and legs.

He also suffered facial injuries.

He was taken to Wexham Park Hospital and has since been discharged.

Investigating officer Det Con Alex Bourne, from Slough Force CID, said: “The victim sustained serious injuries during this assault. I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information which could assist the investigation.”
