Marius Pelaitis, of Connaught Close, west Reading, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court last Friday following an earlier conviction of two counts of rape and one of false imprisonment.
At around 10pm on September 3 last year the 23-year-old and another man, Edgaras Vanagelis, approached a 32-year-old woman in Oxford Road before taking her to a house in Waverley Road, west Reading.
She was then subjected to a two-hour attack during which she was physically beaten and raped resulting in facial injuries, loose teeth and post-traumatic stress.
Vanagelis was sentenced to 13-and-a-half-years’ imprisonment at an earlier hearing on December 1.
Investigating officer Det Con James Kyriacopoulos from Reading Force CID said: “I want to thank the victim for her bravery in helping us to bring these offenders to justice.
“Throughout the case, we worked alongside the Rahab Project in Reading and it is only with their help that we were able to build confidence between the victim and police.”
