The 23-year-old had sold the tickets online and went to meet the buyers in Austin Road in Woodley at around 5.45pm on Tuesday, where the three men asked to see them.
But as soon as the victim got the tickets out, the thugs punched him in the chest, snatched the tickets and drove off in a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The victim did not need hospital treatment.
Two 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man, all from Reading, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on police bail until October 17.
