£250k home would help charity support families - cast your vote
A CHARITY which helps sick children and bereaved families is calling on the public's vote to win a £250,000 house.
Rosie's Rainbow Fund has been named the Thames Valley regional finalist in building company Persimmon Homes's giveaway and is up against 24 other charities who could be awarded the property.
People can cast their votes until September 20 and the one with the most will win the house or the cash equivalent of £250,000. The charity, based in Maidenhead, would sell the house and use the money to buy an adapted and accessible holiday home on the coast for families experiencing the serious illness, disability or loss of a child.
Rosie's Rainbow Fund, which supports children in Berkshire and surrounding counties already provides five to six holidays annually to families who need a break.
