October court date for nightclub murder accused

A READING man accused a murdering a teenager at a nightclub will not appear in court again until October.

The case of Jerome Small, 31, of Arbour Close, Coley, was dealt with in his absence at Reading Crown Court today. He is accused of the murder of 17-year-old Jordan Malutshi, from Clapham, south London, in the early hours of Sunday at Face Bar in Reading's Chatham Street.

Small's counsel agreed to a remand in custody until Monday, October 8, at the same court when he is expcted to enter a plea to the murder charge.

Jordan was found collapsed at Face Bar at 3.50am on Sunday and was certified dead from a stab wound to the heart shortly after admission to Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital.
