Reading teacher accused after Buckingham Palace protest

A TEACHER from Reading is among four people charged by police after climate change activists chained themselves to the gates of Buckingham Palace.

Peter Coville, 45, from Riverside Court, Caversham, has been accused under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act (SOCPA) of breaching Royal Parks regulations after protesters claiming to be from environmental group Climate Siren scaled the Palace gates on Saturday.

After being charged he was bailed to appear at London Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 10.
