LABOUR verge on a clean sweep by gaining Central.

Sabia Hussain, Lab, picked up 1,640 votes, with Sharanjit Bhinder, Con, 737, and Robert Wilkinson, UKIP, won 189.

The turn out was 31.68% with 10 spoilt.

Labour held the seat last year.
