Thieves snatch mobile phone and wallet

POLICE are on the hunt for three robbers who stole a man's mobile phone and wallet.
The 47-year-old victim was walking down Promenade Road towards Christchurch Meadows in Caversham at 9.30am on Wednesday [14] last week when he was confronted by the trio, described as being eastern Europeans, between the Crown pub and the Riverside Court car park. They shouted orders to hand over his property and then fled towards Christchurch Meadows.
Detective Constable Maggie Bruce said: "I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the offenders or someone trying to sell them a dark copper HTC Mozart phone."
