Cars damaged in fire

THREE cars were damaged in a fire that is thought to be suspicious.
The middle car, a VW Golf, was written off, and an Audi A4 and a people carrier either side of it were damaged in the blaze at 3am today (Sunday) in a car park outside homes in Chiltern View, Purley.
Fireifghters from Dee Road Fire Station extinguished the blaze using 500 litres of water - then salted the area because the water froze on hitting the ground. They reported the fire to police and were at the scene for an hour and 20 minutes.
