Police arrest six on suspicion of going equipped

SIX people arrested on suspicion of going equipped will face further police questioning.

Officers stopped the group's car on the A339 near Bishops Green, Newbury, shortly after 12.30am on Sunday and found number plates and a large drum of diesel after searching their vehicle.

Five men aged 18, 21, 24, 38 and 43 and a 19-year-old woman all from Oxford have been bailed to return to Newbury Police Station on Thursday March 4 for further questions.
